About the role#
The Human Resources Intern provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department at Magnolia Manor. You will report to the SVP of HR and assist the team with record keeping, recruitment, and benefits administration. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Americus, Georgia.
What you'll do#
- Support recruiting and staffing by posting positions, scheduling interviews, and checking references.
- Assist with benefits enrollment and explain benefit information to employees.
- Compile reports using the HRIS database.
- Perform office tasks like answering phones, providing reception relief, and submitting supply orders.
- Participate in department meetings and seminars.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe.
- Ability to research, perform analysis, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Experience working with an HRIS database is preferred.
- Ability to interact professionally with residents, family members, and staff.
