About the role#
The Supply Chain Internship is an 8-week summer program based in Secaucus, New Jersey. This full-time, paid position offers students exposure to corporate Supply Chain functions, specifically Network Strategy and Transportation. You will apply your classroom knowledge to real-world business challenges while building professional relationships with team members and senior leaders.
What you'll do#
- Participate in Network Strategy and Transportation functions.
- Conduct analyses to evaluate potential network changes.
- Support outbound transportation by coordinating communication and analyzing freight performance.
- Assist with export compliance and assign Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes to imported items.
- Manage the full lifecycle of assigned projects and meet deadlines.
- Use analytics and key performance indicators to complete a project and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to implement business strategies.
- Develop leadership skills and business acumen.
What you'll need#
- Rising Seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Ability to run and interpret reports.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Capability to collaborate effectively across different functions.
