About the role#
The Supply Chain Internship is an 8-week summer program based in Secaucus, New Jersey. This full-time, paid position offers exposure to corporate functions including Network Strategy and Transportation. You will work directly with teams to manage inventory placement, order fulfillment, and logistics planning. Throughout the summer, you will engage with senior leaders and participate in professional development workshops.
What you'll do#
- Develop leadership skills and business acumen through hands-on experience.
- Collaborate with executives to address challenges and implement business strategies.
- Use analytics, metrics, and key performance indicators to complete a project and recommend improvements.
- Gain experience with order management, transportation management, and warehouse management systems.
- Oversee the lifecycle of projects to demonstrate program management skills.
- Coordinate communication and analyze freight performance.
- Assist with export compliance and assign Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes to imported items.
- Build professional relationships with interns, team members, and leadership.
- Manage deadlines while working both independently and in teams.
What you'll need#
- Rising Seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA with a strong academic record.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Ability to run and interpret reports.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to maintain consistent, reliable attendance.
