About the role#
The Store Management Internship Program provides exposure to the core functions of running a retail store. You will learn about customer service, merchandising, business analysis, and store operations. This is an 8-week paid, full-time program. It takes place on-site during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Manager of Sales and Customer Experience to learn leadership practices.
- Shadow the Managers of Operations and Visual Merchandising to plan and execute product displays.
- Engage with leadership across different business functions.
- Coach colleagues to build a customer-focused selling environment.
- Support daily store operations.
- Analyze business trends with partners to inform merchandise selection.
- Explore retail strategies and test your own ideas for business improvements.
- Complete a final project and presentation focused on business growth.
- Foster an environment of respect and acceptance for colleagues and customers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior in a bachelor's degree program. All majors are welcome.
- A cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher is preferred.
- Self-motivation and a positive attitude.
- A sincere interest in engaging with people.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to solve problems and focus on results.
- Strong business acumen.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as moving about the workplace, reaching, and handling items.
