About the role#
This 8-week paid internship offers exposure to store leadership, including customer service, merchandising, business analysis, and operations. You will work on-site at our Roseville location during the summer of 2027. The program provides a firsthand look at the strategies behind running a multi-million-dollar retail department store. Successful completion of the program may lead to a position in our Store Management Executive Development Program after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Manager of Sales and Customer Experience to learn leadership best practices.
- Shadow managers in operations and visual merchandising to plan and execute product initiatives.
- Engage with leadership across various business functions in your store and region.
- Develop a customer-focused environment by coaching and training colleagues.
- Analyze trends with business partners to select merchandise.
- Explore retail strategies by working on the analytical side of the business.
- Complete a project and presentation to propose new ideas for business growth.
- Foster an environment of acceptance and respect with colleagues and customers.
What you'll need#
- You are currently in your junior year of a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited university.
- A cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher is preferred, and all majors are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A self-motivated approach with a positive attitude.
- A sincere passion for engaging with people.
- Strong business acumen and a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to sit, talk, and hear, with occasional requirements to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms.
