About the role#
This 8-week paid internship provides exposure to the daily operations of a retail store. You will learn about customer service, merchandising, business analysis, and team leadership. The program runs from June 1 through August 2027. It serves as an opportunity to evaluate your interest in a retail management career. Successful interns may be considered for the Store Management Executive Development Program after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Manager of Sales and Customer Experience to learn leadership practices.
- Shadow the Managers of Operations and Visual Merchandising to plan and execute product displays.
- Coach and develop team members to maintain a customer-focused environment.
- Support daily store operations and train colleagues.
- Analyze trends and business strategies to select merchandise.
- Engage with store and regional leadership.
- Complete a final project and presentation focused on business growth ideas.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in your junior year of a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited university.
- A cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- All majors are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A self-motivated approach and a positive attitude.
- Ability to solve problems and drive results.
- Strong business acumen and curiosity about modern retail.
- Ability to sit, talk, hear, and use hands to handle or feel objects. You may occasionally need to move around the workplace and reach with your arms.
