About the role#
This 8-week paid internship provides hands-on experience in store leadership. You will gain exposure to customer service, merchandising, business analysis, visual presentation, store operations, and human resources. The program runs from June through August 2027. Successful completion may lead to a position in the Store Management Executive Development Program after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Manager of Sales and Customer Experience to learn leadership practices.
- Shadow Managers of Operations and Visual Merchandising to plan and execute merchandising initiatives.
- Engage with store and regional leadership across various business functions.
- Coach colleagues to build a customer-focused selling environment and support daily store operations.
- Analyze trends to select merchandise that meets customer needs.
- Explore retail strategies and analyze business performance.
- Complete a project and presentation to propose ideas for business growth.
- Foster an environment of acceptance and respect for colleagues and customers.
What you'll need#
- Currently in your junior year of a bachelor's degree program at an accredited university. A cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred. All majors are welcome.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- A sincere passion for engaging with people.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A problem-solving mindset and a focus on results.
- Strong business acumen.
- Ability to sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects.
- Ability to occasionally move about the workplace, reach with hands and arms, and meet close vision requirements.
