About the role#
This is an 8-week paid internship program based on-site in Buford, Georgia. You will gain exposure to the daily operations of a retail store, including customer service, merchandising, business analysis, and colleague development. This program runs from June through August 2027 and is designed to provide a firsthand look at store leadership.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Manager of Sales and Customer Experience to learn leadership practices.
- Shadow managers in operations and visual merchandising to plan and execute product displays.
- Coach and develop team members to maintain a customer-focused selling environment.
- Analyze business trends with partners to improve merchandise selection.
- Explore retail strategies and business analytics to understand store performance.
- Engage with leadership across various store and regional functions.
- Complete a project and presentation that proposes new ideas for business growth.
- Foster an environment of acceptance and respect among colleagues and customers.
- Support daily store operations through training and consistent coaching.
What you'll need#
- Currently in your junior year of a bachelor’s degree program.
- All majors are considered for this role.
- A cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- A sincere passion for engaging with people and strong communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems and drive results.
- Self-motivation and a positive attitude toward new challenges.
- Strong business acumen and curiosity about retail operations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, talking, hearing, and using hands to handle items.
