About the role#
The Store Management Internship is an 8-week paid program designed to provide exposure to the core functions of retail leadership. You will gain experience in customer service, merchandising, business analysis, and store operations. This on-site internship runs from June through August 2027. Successful completion of the program may lead to an offer for the Store Management Executive Development Program after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Manager of Sales and Customer Experience to learn leadership practices.
- Shadow the Managers of Operations and Visual Merchandising to plan and execute product displays.
- Coach and develop colleagues to build a customer-focused selling environment.
- Support daily store operations through training and team guidance.
- Analyze business trends to select merchandise and explore retail strategies.
- Test and implement new ideas to support business growth.
- Complete a final project and presentation for store leadership.
- Foster an environment of respect and acceptance for colleagues and customers.
What you'll need#
- You are currently in your junior year pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- A cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred, and all majors are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A self-motivated approach and a sincere passion for engaging with people.
- Demonstrated business acumen and a results-driven mindset.
- Physical ability to sit, talk, hear, and use hands to handle or feel objects.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms and move about the workplace as needed.
