About the role#
This 8-week paid internship provides exposure to the operations of a retail department store. You will learn about customer service, merchandising, business analysis, and team leadership. The program runs from June through August 2027. Successful interns may be considered for the Store Management Executive Development Program after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Work with the Manager of Sales & Customer Experience to learn leadership practices and receive regular feedback.
- Shadow the Managers of Operations and Visual Merchandising to plan and execute product displays.
- Coach and train colleagues to maintain a customer-focused environment and support daily operations.
- Analyze sales trends with business partners to select merchandise.
- Explore retail strategies and the analytical side of the business.
- Complete a final project and presentation to propose ideas for business growth.
- Engage with leaders across the store and region.
- Foster an environment of acceptance and respect for all colleagues and customers.
What you'll need#
- You are currently in your junior year of a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited university.
- A cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred, and all majors are welcome.
- You possess a sincere passion for engaging with people and strong organizational skills.
- You are self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of solving problems.
- You have strong business acumen and an interest in modern retail.
- You are able to sit, talk, hear, and use your hands to handle objects. You may occasionally need to move around the workplace.
