About the role#
The Supply Chain Operations intern gains exposure to the end-to-end supply chain network. You will work within a fulfillment center to support the flow of products from suppliers to stores and customers. During this 8-week program, you will contribute to high-impact projects while participating in professional development workshops and networking with senior leaders.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through each function of a supply chain facility.
- Collect and analyze data on workflow efficiency, labor utilization, and equipment performance.
- Support the development and testing of process improvements.
- Collaborate with engineers and operations staff to implement solutions.
- Document best practices through visual tools like process maps and standard operating procedures.
- Utilize analytic tools, metrics, and key performance indicators to complete an internship project.
- Identify opportunities for functional improvement.
- Demonstrate project management skills to oversee the entire lifecycle of projects.
What you'll need#
- Standing as a rising senior pursuing a bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including heavy lifting of at least 30 lbs, constant moving, and climbing ladders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
