About the role#
This 8-week paid internship provides exposure to the leadership side of a retail department store. You will work on-site to learn about customer service, business analysis, visual presentation, and store operations. This program runs from June through August 2027 and serves as an introduction to the Store Management Executive Development Program.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Manager of Sales and Customer Experience to learn leadership practices.
- Shadow managers in operations and visual merchandising to execute product initiatives.
- Coach and develop team members to maintain a customer-focused environment.
- Analyze sales trends to help select merchandise that meets customer needs.
- Develop a business project and presentation to propose growth ideas to store leadership.
- Engage with leaders across various business functions.
- Foster an environment of respect and acceptance for colleagues and customers.
What you'll need#
- Current junior status pursuing a bachelor's degree in any major.
- A cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Self-motivation and a positive attitude when tackling new challenges.
- A sincere passion for engaging with people.
- Strong business acumen and a results-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to move about the workplace, handle merchandise, and maintain close vision.
