About the role#
This 8-week paid internship provides exposure to the core functions of managing a retail store. You will work on-site to learn about customer service, merchandising, business analysis, store operations, and team development. The program runs from June through August 2027. Successful interns may be considered for the Store Management Executive Development Program upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Manager of Sales and Customer Experience to learn leadership practices.
- Shadow managers in operations and visual merchandising to plan and execute product initiatives.
- Engage with leadership across various business functions in your store and region.
- Train and coach colleagues to build a customer-focused selling environment and support daily operations.
- Analyze business trends to select merchandise that meets customer needs.
- Explore retail strategies by working with the analytical side of the business.
- Complete a project and presentation to propose ideas for business growth.
- Foster an environment of acceptance and respect with colleagues and customers.
What you'll need#
- You are currently in your junior year of a bachelor degree program at an accredited university.
- A cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred, and all majors are welcome to apply.
- You are self-motivated with a positive attitude and a sincere passion for engaging with people.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
- You are a problem-solver who is results-driven and possesses strong business acumen.
- The role requires the ability to sit, talk, and hear, as well as the occasional need to move about the workplace.
