About the role#
The Marketing & Promotional Strategy Intern supports the development and execution of seasonal campaigns and promotional events. This role focuses on driving traffic, conversion, and brand relevance. You will work at the intersection of marketing strategy, promotional planning, and customer insights to understand how enterprise marketing strategies are shaped and delivered. You will collaborate with teams including Merchandising, Pricing, Event Architecture, Media, Creative, Digital, and Stores.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and execution of strategic marketing briefs and plans for seasonal campaigns and promotional initiatives.
- Assist in building promotional event architecture and the omni-channel seasonal marketing calendar.
- Contribute to the development of innovative concepts for seasonal, holiday, and promotional sales events.
- Conduct competitive, trend, and consumer research to identify growth opportunities.
- Use data and analytics to evaluate past performance and inform future strategies.
- Create executive-ready presentations that synthesize insights, strategies, and recommendations.
- Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Pricing, Event Architecture, and Marketing teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an MBA program, with a completed Bachelor’s degree.
- A record of leadership, professional accomplishment, and strong extracurricular or work experience.
- Interest in marketing strategy, promotions, and customer-focused initiatives.
- Strong interest in retail, technology, and innovation.
- A focus on customer experience, brand storytelling, and data-driven decision-making.
- Dedication to diversity, inclusion, and respect.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Retail experience is preferred.
