About the role#
MACOM is looking for a Validation Engineer Intern to join our team in Newport Beach. You will work with our high speed IC product lines for signal transport and optical media access. During this 12-week internship, you will complete an individual project with clear goals, receive training, and participate in a poster session to present your work.
What you'll do#
- Help senior engineers set up test equipment and hardware.
- Write and maintain automation scripts to support test processes.
- Study product features by reviewing data sheets and design documentation.
- Draft validation reports and maintain data logs.
- Coordinate the final review of your data with senior validation engineers.
What you'll need#
- You are currently in your senior year of a BSEE program or working toward an MSEE degree.
- Proficiency in C# programming is required.
- Experience with lab equipment is a plus.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Newport Beach, California.
- The position is full-time and paid with an hourly range of $20 to $47 per hour.
- This is a rolling internship term.
