About the role#
As an RF Power Application Engineer Intern, you will support our RF power amplifier product line. You will design, assemble, and test application circuits while gaining hands-on experience in a professional semiconductor environment. This role involves a mix of simulation, physical assembly, and data analysis to help solve real-world engineering problems.
What you'll do#
- Design, assemble, and test RF Power application circuits.
- Use RF models and measured data to drive circuit level designs.
- Operate RF test equipment and software to perform measurements, including s-parameters and circuit characterization.
- Model and analyze RF device performance using AWR.
- Design PCB layouts and perform hands-on PCB assembly and soldering.
- Analyze data and update datasheets to reflect new application board designs.
- Complete an individual project with defined goals.
- Attend and present your project findings at a company Poster Session.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Interest in industries such as radar, MRI, cellular technology, satellites, or avionics.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience working with small tools.
- Soldering experience and experience building small electronic circuits are helpful.
