About the role#
As a Semiconductor Process Development Intern, you will work with the RF Technology Development team on projects that advance our technology roadmap. This internship provides hands-on experience in a fab environment, focused training, and the opportunity to present your results to engineering panels. You will also participate in networking events and career development activities as part of our effort to build a pipeline for future engineering roles.
What you'll do#
- Complete an individual project with defined outcome goals.
- Gain hands-on experience in the clean room.
- Receive training and ongoing supervision from experienced engineers.
- Attend an intern webinar series and participate in networking events.
- Present your project successes and challenges at a poster session.
- Receive formal, written feedback on your performance.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. program in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
- Strong data analysis skills using tools like Excel or JMP.
- Knowledge of semiconductor device physics and basic electrical tests.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required due to ITAR regulations.
- Hands-on clean room experience or coursework in semiconductor processing is preferred.
