    About the role#

    This internship is based at our Lowell, Massachusetts facility. You will join our team to contribute to MMIC product development, supporting the process from initial concept through volume manufacturing. During the 12-week program, you will complete an individual project with clear goals, receive ongoing supervision, and participate in training. You will also attend intern webinars, networking events, and present your work at a poster session. You will receive formal written feedback on your performance.

    What you'll do#

    • Contribute to MMIC product development tasks.
    • Execute a defined project with specific outcomes.
    • Gain hands-on experience in RF engineering.
    • Engage with the team through networking and social events.
    • Present project results at a poster session.

    What you'll need#

    • Active enrollment in a B.S. or M.S. program in Electrical Engineering or a related field with RF coursework.
    • Familiarity with RF test equipment like VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and power meters.
    • Understanding of S-parameters, gain, noise figure, and linearity.
    • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as JMP, MATLAB, Python, or Excel.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
    • Due to ITAR regulations, this position is open only to U.S. Persons.
    • Preferred: Prior internship experience in RF/microwave testing or product engineering.
    • Preferred: Knowledge of MMIC technologies like GaAs and GaN, and familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing and packaging processes.
