About the role#
As a Reliability Intern, you will support product qualification tests and process reliability experiments on semiconductor circuits and test structures. You will work under the guidance of an Electronic Design Consulting Engineer to gain experience with industrial semiconductor products. This is a paid, full-time position based on-site in Lowell, Massachusetts.
What you'll do#
- Identify and prepare samples for reliability testing.
- Develop test fixtures or circuit boards for environmental tests, which may involve mechanical assembly and soldering.
- Perform DC and RF electrical measurements.
- Execute qualification and reliability tests.
- Analyze measurement results using statistical methods.
- Assist with failure analysis as needed.
- Document your findings and provide recommendations for reliability improvements.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years of a four-year degree program in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
- A basic understanding of electronic principles and semiconductor devices.
- Experience with electrical measurements.
- Basic computer programming skills.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools like Excel, MathCad, Minitab, or JMP is preferred.
- Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.

- Compensation: $20 to $47 per hour.
