About the role#
As a Product Reliability Engineering Intern, you will join the MMIC Reliability Engineering team. You will work alongside experienced engineers to support the qualification, reliability evaluation, and test development of semiconductor products and packages. This role offers hands-on experience in a laboratory setting and provides formal mentorship throughout the program.
What you'll do#
- Lead an individual project with specific objectives and deliverables.
- Support semiconductor product and package qualification activities.
- Perform laboratory testing, data analysis, and engineering investigations.
- Use AI tools to build software utilities, automate tasks, and improve data analysis workflows.
- Design and validate PCB test boards and fixtures to support reliability work.
- Participate in training sessions, networking events, and technical presentations.
- Present your project results and findings at an end-of-summer poster session.
- Receive regular performance feedback and professional mentorship.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A strong interest in semiconductor devices, electronics, reliability, testing, or product development.
- Experience with laboratory work and technical data analysis.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- A self-motivated approach to learning and taking ownership of technical challenges.
- Experience with Python, PCB design tools, or AI-assisted engineering tools is helpful.

- Compensation: $20 to $47 per hour.
