About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain work experience in IC design while completing an individual, business-critical project. You will receive training and supervision throughout the 12-week program, which includes formal feedback on your progress.
What you'll do#
- Design high speed modulator drivers in SiGe technology, focusing on wide bandwidth and high output drive levels.
- Document your design process and test results.
- Review progress and design tradeoffs with the team.
- Participate in an intern webinar series and attend networking and social events.
- Present your project outcomes and findings at a poster session.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a PhD student in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Practical experience in Analog IC design and layout.
- Proficiency with Cadence design tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a self-motivated approach to your work.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Milpitas, California.
- The role is full-time and paid with an hourly range of $20 to $47 per hour.
