About the role#
As a Design Engineer Intern on the HPA team, you will work directly with experienced engineers who provide mentorship and guidance. You will take ownership of a defined project with specific goals while building professional relationships within the team.
What you'll do#
- Complete an individual project with set outcome goals.
- Gain hands on experience in digital circuit design.
- Receive training and ongoing supervision throughout the 12-week term.
- Attend intern webinar series and networking events.
- Present your project successes and pitfalls at a poster session.
- Receive formal, written feedback on your performance.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an MSEE or PhD in an area related to Digital System or ASIC design.
- Interest in developing digital ASIC place and route skills.
- Familiarity with TCL, Python, and shell scripting for automation.
- Knowledge of static timing concepts.
- Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new concepts.
- Experience with Verilog RTL coding design is preferred.
