About the role#
As a Design Engineer Intern, you will join our Analog / Mixed Signal Design team in Hillsboro. You will focus on the design of circuits for optical communications. This position allows you to gain hands-on experience while taking ownership of a specific, business-critical project. You will receive ongoing supervision and formal feedback throughout your 12-week term.
What you'll do#
- Complete an individual project with clear outcome goals.
- Participate in an intern webinar series.
- Attend networking and social events to build professional relationships.
- Present your project results, including successes and pitfalls, at a poster session.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MS or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, preferably near graduation.
- Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to work well within a team environment.
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso and Spectre design tools is a plus.
