About the role#
As a member of the Advanced Filter Development Team, you will work alongside experienced engineers who provide mentoring and guidance. You will take ownership of a business-critical project focused on acoustic wave filter device physics model development, microfabrication process development, or device characterization. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build professional relationships within the company.
What you'll do#
- Complete an individual project related to acoustic wave filter technology.
- Receive formal training and ongoing supervision from your team.
- Participate in an intern webinar series and various networking or social events.
- Present your project successes and findings at an end-of-term poster session.
- Receive formal, written feedback on your performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Bachelor student in electrical engineering, applied physics, materials engineering, or mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years of study completed.
- Familiarity with multi-physics finite element modeling, semiconductor microfabrication processes, and RF characterization.
- Preferred: Current PhD student in electrical engineering with a strong background in microfabrication, MEMS, thin-film bulk acoustic wave, or Lamb wave devices.
- Proficiency in piezoelectric multi-physics finite element modeling.
- Hands-on experience with semiconductor microfabrication processes like photolithography, sputtering, MBE, MOCVD, or RIE.
- Practical experience with wafer-level RF characterization.
