About the role#
M I Technical Solutions offers internships for students through the Commonwealth STEM Industry Internship Program. This program focuses on student learning, professional development, and industry networking. You will build skills and gain insight into tech roles while working on your own projects and supporting current company programs.
What you'll do#
- Complete a personal project that can fulfill academic requirements.
- Assist in the development of existing company programs.
- Participate in professional development and industry networking.
- Submit a project proposal as part of the interview process.
What you'll need#
- You must be a currently enrolled college or university student in a STEM field.
- You must be pre-qualified through the Virginia Space Grant Consortium.
- You must be able to develop a project plan for a product or service.
- Submit a resume.
- Submit a project explanation of 500 words or less.
- Provide a project timeline with a maximum of three milestones.
- Include a list of primary materials needed for your proposed project.
- Relevant majors include Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Cybersecurity.
