About the role#
This is a hands-on internship based in a cleanroom environment. You will work directly with our team to support the development and optimization of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
What you'll do#
- Design and run experiments to improve semiconductor and thin-film fabrication methods, with a focus on yield, consistency, and throughput.
- Operate semiconductor tools, including deposition systems, etch systems, lithography equipment, and metrology tools.
- Analyze data to make process decisions and achieve desired outcomes.
- Present and discuss your findings with the team.
- Perform tasks in a controlled cleanroom environment, which involves handling wafers and sensitive equipment.
- Collaborate with senior process engineers, technicians, and operators to ensure process quality and compatibility.
- Keep detailed records of all procedures, processes, and test results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program for engineering, mechanical, materials, or a related technical field.
- Foundational knowledge of semiconductor processing methods, such as thin-film disposition, dry etch, lithography, and metrology.
- Ability to apply classroom learning through laboratory work, projects, research, or coursework.
- Availability for the full duration of the internship.
- Prior experience in a cleanroom or with wafer fabrication tools is highly valued.

- The position is on-site and full-time.
- This is a paid internship with a rolling term.
