About the role#
As a VFX and Motion Design Intern, you will learn to create and integrate visual effects and motion elements that bring our games to life. You will work alongside our artists to participate in various production stages, from creative exploration to the final integration of your effects into our in-house game engine. This is an opportunity to develop your technical and artistic skills while contributing to real mobile game projects.
What you'll do#
- Create real-time visual effects including particles, impacts, powers, and transitions.
- Design motion design and animation elements to enrich the player experience within UI/UX environments.
- Integrate and adjust your creations directly in an in-house game engine.
- Collaborate with Art, Animation, Design, and Development teams.
- Adapt and optimize your effects for mobile performance constraints.
- Explore new techniques and participate in visual research.
- Receive regular feedback to build your autonomy in production.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a program related to VFX, animation, digital arts, or video games, ideally in your final year.
- A solid foundation in visual effects, animation, and motion design.
- Knowledge of a game engine such as Unity or Unreal.
- Familiarity with tools like After Effects, Photoshop, 3ds Max, or other 3D software and particle systems.
- Curiosity for both the artistic and technical aspects of effect creation.
- A strong interest in video games and game feel.
- You are creative, curious, and comfortable receiving and applying feedback.
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset but not mandatory.
