About the role#
As a Product Management Intern, you will join our production cycle to learn how we balance player experience, data, and business goals to build mobile games. This is a full-time, 6-month internship designed for students looking to gain hands-on experience in game development. You will move from an initial phase of observation to taking ownership of specific product improvements.
What you'll do#
- Play our games to learn mechanics and player journeys.
- Review game design documents and analytics dashboards.
- Explore competitor titles and industry benchmarks.
- Meet and collaborate with cross-functional team members in Design, Engineering, and QA.
- Attend product meetings, retrospectives, and sprint planning sessions.
- Shadow a Senior PM to observe their daily decision-making process.
- Analyze metrics and evaluate feature performance.
- Draft user stories and write bug reports.
- Take full ownership of small product changes or quality-of-life improvements.
- Analyze gameplay data to suggest optimizations.
- Participate in backlog grooming and competitive analysis to inform product roadmapping.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Game Design, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- A requirement for an internship as part of your academic curriculum.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data modeling.
- A strong interest in mobile games and free-to-play business models.
- An analytical mindset with curiosity about user behavior and product strategy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of SQL or data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker is a strong asset.
- Bilingualism in English and French is a plus.
