About the role#
The Service Transformation & Data Analytics internship is a 10-week, full-time program within the Foundational Analyst Rotational (FAR) Program. You will support initiatives that drive operational excellence and strategic planning across the LPL Service organization. This role involves partnering with leaders across Finance, HR, Data & Analytics, and other functions to analyze performance metrics and advance key strategic priorities.
What you'll do#
- Analyze business performance data and operational metrics to identify trends and actionable insights.
- Support strategic planning activities, including research and the development of materials for leadership discussions.
- Assist in the creation of executive presentations, reports, and communications.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to track progress on initiatives and support business management processes.
- Conduct research on industry trends, client service strategies, and market developments.
- Support organizational planning activities such as headcount, budget, and operational reporting.
- Participate in special projects and departmental initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness.
- Streamline processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate degree program with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Interest in financial services, business strategy, organizational effectiveness, or operational management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize information into clear insights.
- Ability to pass a background screening.

- Locations: Fort Mill, South Carolina or Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 1, 2027 to August 6, 2027).
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: $25.00 per hour.
- Requirements: Must be local to the office location during the internship. We are unable to provide sponsorship for this position.
