About the role#
As a Merchandising Operations Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the strategies, processes, and initiatives that bring merchandising plans to life across Lowe’s stores and channels. You will work alongside business partners to analyze information, identify opportunities, coordinate projects, and support operational improvements. This role offers exposure to the full lifecycle of merchandising strategies, from initial planning to final execution, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver products and solutions to customers.
What you'll do#
- Support key initiatives focused on merchandising execution, process improvement, operational efficiency, reporting, and business performance.
- Analyze data to identify trends, measure performance, and support merchandising decisions.
- Partner with teams across Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, Store Operations, and Finance.
- Translate project findings into clear recommendations and presentations for business partners.
- Manage project priorities, timelines, and communication within a retail environment.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred: 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.
- Preferred: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Preferred: Previous experience in retail, merchandising, business, or project management.
- Preferred: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Location: Lowe’s Store Support Center in Mooresville, North Carolina.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 24 - July 30, 2027).
- Employment Type: Full-time, paid internship.
