About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in the development, production, and execution of merchandising collateral for our retail stores. You will gain insight into how signage, promotional materials, and product messaging support the customer shopping experience. This 10-week summer program runs from May 24 to July 30, 2027, and provides exposure to how corporate teams coordinate merchandising strategies across a large-scale retail organization.
What you'll do#
- Support the development, production, and execution of merchandising collateral.
- Work alongside business partners to coordinate projects and bring merchandising strategies to life.
- Review project details to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement using data and reporting.
- Communicate project updates, findings, risks, and recommendations to business partners.
- Collaborate across teams including Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, and Store Operations.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Retail Management, Communications, Graphic Communications, Project Management, Supply Chain, or Operations.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience or coursework related to merchandising, retail, marketing, print or creative production, project management, or business operations.
- Demonstrated initiative through internships, employment, leadership roles, campus organizations, or volunteer activities.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site at the Lowe’s Store Support Center in Mooresville, North Carolina.
- Candidates must be able to work on-site for the duration of the internship.
