About the role#
This 11-week internship provides hands-on experience in managing travel centers, including food service and truck care operations. You will work alongside experienced leaders to learn facility operations, team management, and customer service. The program is designed to provide real-world application of skills and mentorship from industry professionals.
What you'll do#
- Participate in training across store, fuel, food, and truck care operations.
- Develop business acumen by learning to drive sales, manage costs, and support profitability.
- Learn team leadership, staffing, and employee development practices.
- Deliver customer service and resolve issues.
- Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and operational standards.
- Help enforce safety, compliance, and company policies.
- Collaborate on a cross-functional project with other interns and leaders.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year degree program in business, management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, which may include a motor vehicle check or DOT physical.
- Confidence interacting with customers and team members.
- Willingness to learn by doing.
- Ability to navigate computer programs and technology tools.
- Physical ability to move around, talk, hear, see clearly, and lift up to 50 pounds.

- Schedule: Monday through Friday.
