About the role#
Louisiana Ear, Nose, Throat, & Sinus, LLC is hiring an Audiology Extern for a full-time, on-site role in Hollywood, Florida. This is a paid externship designed to provide clinical experience across a variety of hearing and balance disorders. You will work alongside experienced audiologists to develop your skills in a clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Perform comprehensive evaluations for patients of all ages.
- Conduct hearing aid fittings, counseling, and rehabilitation.
- Provide follow-up care to patients.
- Train with advanced diagnostic equipment and modern hearing technology.
- Participate in all aspects of patient care and clinical decision-making.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Au.D. program with eligibility for an externship placement.
- Completion of a BA or BS in an Audiology program.
- Ability to meet the one-year clinical site requirement for licensure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional, collaborative mindset with an interest in patient-centered care.
