    About the role#

    Lonestar Electric Supply offers an internship program for students interested in the electrical distribution industry. You will work across various departments to support daily operations while gaining hands-on experience in the field. This is a full-time, paid position based in Dallas.

    What you'll do#

    • Shadow associates to learn how the business functions and how to interact with partners and customers.
    • Provide customer service to internal teams, vendors, and logistics professionals.
    • Learn sales best practices and how to meet monthly quotas.
    • Research accounts and identify key contacts to help generate interest.
    • Receive, verify, and stock products used in the electrical industry.
    • Review and pull orders, check for accuracy, and wrap items for transport.
    • Assist with loading and unloading materials.
    • Maintain a clean workspace and follow all safety protocols.
    • Communicate issues or concerns to management.

    What you'll need#

    • High-School Diploma or GED.
    • Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Industrial Distribution, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, General Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Interest in a career within sales, construction, engineering, or electrical distribution.
    • Strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
    • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to move up to 40 lbs and navigate warehouse conditions, which may include loud noise, heat, and humidity.
    • Ability to operate office equipment and remain in a stationary position for half of the workday.

    • Location: Dallas, Texas.
    • This role is on-site.
    • The internship term is rolling.
