About the role#
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Summer 2027 RMS Supply Chain Intern to join the Supply Chain Performance Team in Stratford, Connecticut. This is a full-time, hybrid position where you will support operational tasks and data analysis. You will work on assignments of limited scope while applying academic principles to real-world supply chain challenges.
What you'll do#
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets covering inventory levels, shipping, receiving, and supplier performance.
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to share insights with stakeholders.
- Spot trends, patterns, and anomalies within supply chain data.
- Formulate recommendations to improve existing processes.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Operations, or a similar field.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with Tableau and financial data analysis.
- A basic understanding of supply chain concepts gained through academic coursework.
- You must be a US citizen and be able to obtain special access for this facility.
