About the role#
This is a part-time, on-site student position at Smylie's Your Independent Grocer in Trenton, Ontario. This is a unionized role with a starting pay range of $16.60 to $19.45 per hour. The position is open to students currently pursuing studies in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Human Resources.
What you'll do#
- Support day-to-day store operations.
- Assist customers and process transactions.
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
- Promote sustainability initiatives within the store.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
What you'll need#
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to complete a criminal background check.
- A reliable and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Previous experience in customer service is considered an asset.
