About the role#
The Risk Advisory group delivers advisory, assurance, and technology-based solutions across the Loblaw portfolio. This co-op role provides exposure to various service lines and offers the opportunity to work on cross-functional projects. You will support senior stakeholders by testing controls and helping to identify business risks and opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Execute a portfolio of Risk Advisory projects by working with integrated project teams.
- Analyze results to help understand, communicate, and evaluate business issues.
- Learn about operational, technology, and financial processes and controls.
- Produce visual presentations that connect business data to risks and opportunities.
- Conduct research on emerging issues and propose ways to use this information to add value.
- Proactively identify areas where data and process-driven insights can mitigate risk.
- Perform ad-hoc requests as needed by management.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong business acumen and an ability to connect business areas with risk and control frameworks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, oral, and presentation abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task, collaborate, and prioritize work.
- An enthusiastic approach to learning and working within a team.
- Pursuing a CPA or similar designation is an asset.

- Location: 1 President’s Choice Circle, Brampton, ON.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 6, 2027, to April 16, 2027).
- Modality: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote).
- Employment: Full-time paid position.
