About the role#
This internship provides exposure to engineering design and methodology within a medical technology environment. You will work on projects related to our digital health platform and neuromodulation technology. Throughout the summer, you will receive one-on-one mentoring from experienced engineers to help develop your technical skills.
What you'll do#
- Participate in prototyping, circuit modeling, and simulations.
- Perform analog circuit design and PCB layout.
- Use C# and other programming languages for test automation, including setting up visualizations, GUIs, and controlling test equipment.
- Engage in 3D CAD modeling and work with electromagnetics and wireless systems.
- Communicate technical information across various functional teams involved in product development.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Students in related fields are also encouraged to apply.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Houston, Texas.
- Compensation is $25 to $28 per hour.
