About the role#
We are looking for an intern to join the Irrigation Product Support Team for the winter or summer of 2027. You will assist dealers, growers, and internal teams with operational and technical support for our FieldNET products and software. This is a full-time, paid position based in Omaha.
What you'll do#
- Manage incoming calls and emails from customers and dealers.
- Open, document, and close support cases regarding FieldNET telemetry and software.
- Process subscription requests for telemetry activations.
- Assist customers with basic configurations, troubleshooting, and general product questions.
- Perform hands-on testing for new product releases, bug fixes, and feature enhancements.
- Collaborate with the FieldNET team to build product knowledge and support internal operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or completion of a bachelor's degree in agriculture, engineering, or business.
- Experience in an agricultural or electrical field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage your time effectively.
- A positive, professional attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.
- A background in agronomy or phenology or being bi-lingual are considered pluses.
Location & details#
- Location: Omaha, Nebraska.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with four days in the office and an optional remote day on Fridays.
