    About the role#

    This internship focuses on AgTech sales and agronomy within our North American irrigation division. You will work on a variety of tasks including fieldwork, dealer and grower support, sales development, and product training. This role requires a mix of independent work and collaboration with regional managers, product teams, and industry partners to support the adoption of irrigation technology.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the sales and adoption of FieldNET Advisor and aftermarket solutions to drive revenue growth.
    • Build relationships with growers, dealers, and agronomic consultants.
    • Provide technical support and training to dealers and growers, both remotely and in the field.
    • Assist with software account setup, data questions, and customer follow-up.
    • Install soil moisture probes on case-study fields and train dealers on the process.
    • Support hardware deployment for field trials and help identify case-study locations.
    • Research competitive products and market trends to identify new opportunities.
    • Analyze market performance data using Excel and present findings via PowerPoint.
    • Document weekly activities and update the customer relationship management system.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a college or trade school program in Ag Business, Agronomy, Mechanized Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
    • Knowledge of agronomy, North American crops, irrigation methods, and farming practices.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Strong communication, public speaking, and analytical skills.
    • Ability to independently manage your schedule and take ownership of tasks.
    • Comfort initiating conversations with growers and industry partners.
    • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
    • Ability to travel overnight as needed.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
    • Primary location is Omaha, Nebraska, with potential consideration for candidates in Texas, Georgia, or Idaho.
    • The role involves a rolling term and requires the ability to work flexible hours, including occasional work beyond 40 hours per week.
