About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on development experience by contributing to projects on one of our API development teams. You will work alongside experienced engineers and cross-functional partners to build your technical skills and solve engineering challenges.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering projects through research, design, development, testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, technical teams, and project managers to meet project goals.
- Participate in the design, prototyping, and scoping of engineering solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation for engineering projects and processes.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and develop solutions with guidance from experienced engineers.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to expand your technical knowledge.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, JavaScript, Rust, or C++.
- Understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Familiarity with database concepts, including SQL and NoSQL.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to develop new technical skills.
