About the role#
This Level I internship offers an observation-based learning experience within a healthcare environment. You will gain exposure to behavioral health services, interdisciplinary collaboration, and professional workplace practices. This role focuses on shadowing and supervised participation to help you develop communication, ethical awareness, and workplace readiness skills.
What you'll do#
- Participate in all activities structured by your supervisor.
- Complete, sign, and submit all required documentation.
- Communicate regularly with your supervisor throughout the program.
- Evaluate and share your feedback on the internship experience.
- Demonstrate punctuality, respect, and a willingness to learn.
- Cooperate with staff and engage fully in the learning process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at Okaloosa Technical College.
- Reliable transportation to and from the site.
- Adherence to all dress and behavior guidelines.
- Compliance with the policies and procedures of Lakeview Center, Inc.
