About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will join the Lifestyle Communities finance team to assist with tax strategy and compliance. You will work on projects that directly impact the company through forecasting, research, and analysis. This is a paid, part-time internship scheduled for Winter 2027.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and analyze tax extensions for corporate and partnership entities at the Federal, State, and Local levels.
- Assist the tax manager with annual planning and forecasting tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial and operational data for tax compliance.
- Support the 1099 process.
- Complete ad hoc projects and analysis as assigned by the team.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, real estate, or a related business field.
- You have completed at least two years of college and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
- Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn and become proficient with internal software programs.
- Strong attention to detail and clear verbal and written communication skills.
- You are a self-starter who can multi-task and work well in a team.

- The position is on-site in an office environment.
