About the role#
Liberty University is hiring a Club Sports Graduate Student Worker to support the department. This role involves balancing office administration with field-based tasks to help manage club sports programs. You will work under a supervisor to ensure programs align with university values and mission.
What you'll do#
- Manage and oversee staff, including assigning duties and creating schedules.
- Provide support as directed by your supervisor.
- Complete mandatory training, including SafeSport, Title IX, Clery Act, and IT Security.
- Work both in a climate-controlled office setting and outdoors, including occasional work during Concessions dates.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and industry benchmarks.
- Work evenings and weekends as required by the needs of the department.
What you'll need#
- A four-year college degree with a concentration in Business Development, Education, or Sports Administration.
- Enrollment in or acceptance into a Liberty University master’s program.
- At least one year of experience in an office environment.
- Strong organizational skills and academic development experience.
- Knowledge of the functional requirements for various sports teams.
- Excellent computer skills and clear verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when performing outdoor or event-related duties.
