About the role#
This internship supports the Materials Planning team at Libbey. You will work on global inventory supply tasks that support customer orders. The team coordinates with manufacturing plants, suppliers, sales, and distribution departments. This position is based in Toledo, Ohio, and runs from Fall 2026 through the Spring 2027 semester.
What you'll do#
- Track late shipments and update arrival dates for the Materials Planning team.
- Process international shipping documents.
- Maintain purchase order quantities and ETAs.
- Update daily, weekly, and monthly reports for supply chain metrics.
- Use the JD Edwards ERP system and perform data analysis in Excel.
- Assist with various supply chain projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
- A commitment to completing assigned projects.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
