About the role#
As a Banquet Server Co-op, you will work with the Food Services Team to provide service and quality products to guests at Assiniboine Park Conservancy. You will assist with event operations and ensure that our park visitors have a positive experience. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Set up venues for functions or events before guests arrive and tear down the space once they leave.
- Ensure the safe and healthy preparation of food and beverage items, including bartending duties when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all restaurant areas.
- Assist with other Park Hospitality departments as needed.
- Follow all company safety regulations and policies to ensure a secure work environment.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current Smart Choices Certificate.
- Ability to build positive relationships with co-workers, volunteers, and visitors.
- A Manitoba Class 5 driver license is an asset.
- A Food Handler Certificate is an asset.
- Current enrollment in a Business Administration or Communications program.
