About the role#
This is a summer 2027 internship for a Manufacturing Engineering Intern. You will work on-site in Frederick, Maryland, to gain hands-on experience with engineering staff, methods, and company practices. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers with various assignments and carry out basic work instructions.
- Conduct limited scope testing and design analysis under direct supervision.
- Perform calculations and help with design details.
- Gather and assemble data for engineering projects.
- Assist with research in specific fields.
- Complete all assigned tasks on time.
- Support and represent the mission, values, and culture of the company.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in an engineering degree program, such as Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build a professional network.
- A diligent, hardworking approach and a quick ability to learn.
