About the role#
The Legal and Compliance Intern supports operational initiatives for the RPM legal team. This role provides hands-on exposure to legal processes including corporate governance, contract management, and process optimization. Interns assist in-house counsel with general litigation, contract drafting and analysis, employment law, data privacy, and records management.
What you'll do#
- Support in-house lawyers with a wide range of legal and regulatory matters for a publicly traded multinational company.
- Learn and manage various filing systems.
- Create and maintain attorney-client files.
- Communicate and collaborate with business professionals and attorneys.
- Perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Juris Doctor program.
- An analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position located in Medina, Ohio.
- The internship term is rolling.
- Work hours and days are flexible based on workload and your class schedule.
