About the role#
Lawtons Drugs is hiring a Registered Pharmacy Technician (Student) in Fredericton. This role offers a progressive learning experience in pharmacy operations, administration, and professional services. You will work on-site as part of our pharmacy team to support daily tasks and customer care.
What you'll do#
- Perform professional pharmacy activities appropriate to your level of education.
- Manage prescription assembly, data entry, and filing.
- Process customer transactions and handle prescription intake and release.
- Assist with compounding and pill pack assembly.
- Maintain inventory by ordering, receiving, and replenishing supplies.
- Answer phone inquiries and promote profile programs.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Implement and follow company standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a pharmacy program from a recognized institution.
- Previous pharmacy experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Above average oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to be self-directed and work independently.
