About the role#
The IT Operations Co-op role provides hands-on experience in corporate IT support and systems administration. You will work alongside the IT team to support daily operations, including identity management, device deployment, and employee lifecycle tasks. This position is designed for students interested in learning IT best practices within a growing technology company.
What you'll do#
- Respond to day-to-day IT support requests through the service desk.
- Troubleshoot common issues related to laptops, accounts, applications, and access.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Create and update Google Workspace accounts, groups, and permissions under supervision.
- Prepare, configure, and deploy laptops for new employees.
- Assist with laptop returns, inventory updates, and device decommissioning.
- Create and update help articles, setup instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related program.
- Basic understanding of computers and common workplace applications.
- Strong interest in IT support and cloud applications.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication skills when interacting with employees.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to document work.
